My first business failed.  In 2nd grade I was nearly suspended for operating a business on school property.  Worse, I lost my entire initial investment! ($10.00)  While ten bucks doesn’t sound like a lot of money to lose on a business venture, it’s a lot of money to an 8-year old!

I got into graphic design and web development in 1999 and launched my first website for a paying client in 2000. After a brief detour at Colorado State University where I got a B.S. in Psychology, I returned to web development professionally and started developing sites on WordPress in 2008 (v2.3.1 for the nerds).

I founded Copper Leaf Creative in 2011.  My vision is to create a small, elite, agile-minded team that can make profound impacts on our clients’ businesses.  I’d say “so far so good!”

In 2017, Leah and I founded woobetter.com.
