Ticket scholarships available – application now open

If the cost of a ticket to WordCamp Denver is prohibitive for you, please fill out the form below, and we’ll be in touch. We do have a limited number of scholarships available, so form submission does not guarantee that you’ll receive the grant. This application form will remain active until active until August 1, or until we have allocated all available scholarship funds.

Planning a WordCamp involves a lot of effort towards making camp events and content as accessible as possible. So much of the time, for so many people, finances can be a barrier to access, so we’re cooking up ways to lower that barrier.

WordCamp Denver is a locally-focused event, and we want to make sure that everyone in our community, regardless of their financial situation, has the opportunity to benefit from the education, networking and camaraderie of the weekend of camp.

We’re delighted to announce that, thanks to some very generous sponsors, we are able to offer a limited number of scholarships, covering the cost of both days’ tickets, to individuals who express a need.

In return, we are requesting that our scholarship recipients reach out to the sponsor to express thanks, whether that be with a tweet, a personal facebook or blog post, or even a handwritten note. The planning team will provide sponsor contact information to recipients as needed, and your information will be kept confidential by our team unless you grant us permission otherwise.
